SELEX Communications Yacht Technologies and Advanced New Technologies (ANT) announce collaboration
The Yacht Technologies business of SELEX Communications, a Finmeccanica company and one of the world’s leading providers of integrated electronic solutions for superyachts, today announces its collaboration with Advanced New Technologies (ANT), a world renowned technology-based entertainment, communications and data systems provider.
The collaboration was officially signed at the recent Abu Dhabi Yacht Show, bringing together worldwide expertise, financial strength and combined resources in navigation, communication, entertainment and industry leading security technologies.
John Hodder, Head of Yacht Technologies, commented: “We are delighted that this collaboration between ANT Technologies and SELEX Communications has come to fruition in time for the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show. There is a clear gap in the market for integrated, turn-key electronics from a single supplier and the agreement meets this need head on.”
Steve Puckering, ANT’s CEO continued: “ANT is delighted to be working with SELEX Communications. The combination of two-cutting edge technology companies with complimentary specialisations and uniqueness within our fields will produce an exciting blend of superyacht electronic services.”
SELEX Communications Yacht Technologies was launched to the Middle Eastern market at the 2010 Abu Dhabi Yacht Show. To celebrate the launch and the signing of the ANT collaboration, the company is offering superyacht owners a free technical assessment of their electronic systems.
SELEX Communications at Abu Dhabi Yacht Show
SELEX Communications Yacht Technologies has launched its services to the Middle Eastern superyacht market at the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show. Part of the Finmeccanica Group, Yacht Technologies is the only business in the world able to offer fully integrated navigation, communication, entertainment and security solutions for superyachts.

John Hodder, Head of Yacht Technologies commented: “The response we’ve had since Monaco has exceeded all expectations. We saw that there was a gap in the market for the provision of all encompassing electronic solutions, and have been proved right.
“Our launch in the Middle East marks a natural progression for the business. As part of the Finmeccanica Group, one of the largest electronics and communications groups in the world, we have access to more than 100 years of expertise in advanced marine technologies. It is precisely this heritage which gives us the experience and capabilities to meet the needs of superyacht owners anywhere in the world.”
