There can be enormous personal, reputational and financial damage when sensitive information is stolen. With cyber attacks increasing in sophistication, complex technical knowledge is required to provide suitable protection.

We provide support at the design stage, advising on intrusion prevention, detection and retaliatory capabilities. This enables our clients to understand security risks from the outset, and ensures that appropriate counter measures, contingencies and management processes are built into the vessel’s IT infrastructure.

For over a decade, our IAS team has designed, manufactured and installed a range of antennas that are completely hidden from view. With a background in naval and military applications, this technology has been introduced to the superyacht market to improve aesthetics and increase safety.

Omni-directional antennas (e.g. whip aerials, GPS antennas etc) can be built into the superstructure of a yacht to completely hide them from view. As well as the aesthetic benefits, this ensures that communications are maintained in the event of a piracy attack.

Uni-directional antennas (V-SAT, Sat-TV, FBB, etc.) can be concealed in bespoke housing rather than traditionally shaped radomes to improve aesthetics.

Antenna systems are modelled and tested prior to installation to demonstrate operational effectiveness – many solutions are available for both existing and newbuild projects.
